This is the front entrance to Tasman Bay Backpackers. Our hostel was one of the first purpose built Backpacker hostels in New Zealand. There are many advantages to this. The rooms are all of a good size and the layout works really well. |
| Sitting Room | |

One of the first things we did when we took over the hostel nearly 10 years ago was to put in this log fire. It creates a great atmosphere and most importantly keeps the hostel really warm. We also have heaters in all the rooms. |

All our rooms are a little different. We use good quality sheets and towels. All beds (inc the dorm beds) all have their own reading lights. |

Our the back of the hostel is a real sun trap in summer time. We also have a BBQ out here that anyone can use. |
