Nelson may be a little off the beaten track but that is half the attraction of coming here. Beware. Lots of people come to Nelson and never leave - Nelson is full of all different nationalities living here.

Car

From Picton take either the very scenic but extremely windy Queen Charlotte Drive or go via Blenheim (similar time to scenic route). Coming into Nelson turn left at the first round roundabout and first left again into Wainui St that turns into Weka. We are on the right at Number 10.

From the West Coast or Christchurch (via the Lewis Pass) follow signs to city centre and you'll end up on the main street. Trafalgar Street. At the bottom end of Trafalgar Street you turn right into Wainui Street which turns into our street - Weka Street. We’re on the right at number 10.

What's been said...

"Lots of information in room and around hostel, love the favourite places in your country folder - great idea! Hostel is well cared for and you can tell you have great staff as they are so friendly.  Rooms are good size, most comfortable bed I've ever had travelling!  Well organised and equiped kitchen."

Louise, UK

"It was very nice to be trusted i.e. allowed to borrow hair dryers, towels, hot water bottles.  Other hostels often demand deposits for this."
